Welcome to my web site. The place that is mine and only mine. Everyone has to have their own place. Some people it is their garage, others their basement, others their bathroom. This is one of the few places in my life where I have full control. This is my virtual arcade room. You can view photos of my original game room in my basement (grimbasement) by clicking here. You will find also that this website is a mess I have many interests that I fixate on for a short time then I move on to somethig else sometimes to return many months or years later or never. My wife calls them Cyclic Obsessions. You'll find a wide range of interests from classic arcades to politics, religion, history, rafting, environment, science real estate all kinds of stuff. Also included is a photo gallery filled with pictures no one else would care about but is stillpart of my world. Take some time and browse around make yourself at home. I hope it isn't a waste of time for you and you come across something interesting.

Whelp, I can't believe it's been so long since I updatd this site. It's been way too long. Though I have been blogging recently at Grim's MySpace Blog And good news I just got my first friend.... How sad I must seem. We did sell our house to the lady that looked at it that I mentioned in the last post. We moved to the Sugarhood (almost Sugarhouse) at the end of June. I totally dig the area. 1.5 miles to work < mile to Costco ~ mile to Sugarhouse and I'm really liking that I'm able to walk to work.

We've put our house up for sale but no takers yet except for a kooky divorce' that backed out two days later. We have someone coming to look at the house for the THIRD time. I'm feeling prtty good about. Maybe we'll finally sell.

Also I've been walking... trying to lose some weight and get healthy. I'm enjoying it too. My goal is to walk all of downtown Salt Lake. You can look at my progress here.

We went around and looked at some houses in the old part of SLC today. I don't know why I'm so drawn to the the old houses they are old crooked and very small. I think the mainthing is we've built three houses in 10 years and I want to try something a little different for a change. Also buying an existing home is probably one of the best ways to recycle. I's just it's a little hard to look at 1050 square foot houses with a shelf basement and looking at paying over $200,000. Of course in California 6 years ago a townhome in the same development that I lived at in the early '80s was $270,000 and it was 850 sq feet. Now they are close to $400,000. We even saw a house for sale that was owned by Becky's great great great great grandfather George A. Smith. I'm guessing it was one of the many houses that the heirarchy used to stash their wives. Still though I think it would be really neat to get a house that was owned by one of Becky's relatives over 130 years ago. Too bad the $269,000 asking price is just a little too steep for us.
